There are only a few ski resorts that can boast such an amazing view of the Tatra Mountains. No wonder
that the viewing terrace at the upper station is always filled – not only by skiers, but also by other people
who want to see the Belianske Tatras and the High Tatras from this perspective.
Skiers have a chair lift, t-bar lifts and five ski pistes at their disposal, with the longest, easy piste being a kilometre long. The slopes are illuminated and artificially covered with snow. The “Stumilowy Las” playroom is waiting for children. Czarna Góra, picturesquely situated on the Białka River, appeared on the pages of history only at the end of the
16th century. It can be found in the list of “huts and sheepfolds” prepared for the Spiš Chapter. “Opisanie
ciekawych gór Tatrów” [An Interesting Description of the Tatra Mountains], a work from the 17th century,
recalls the names of alpine meadows in the Belianskie Tatras which were its property. Czarna Góra must have already been a village at that time. Today, this picturesque village offers its advantages to tourists. While staying here, it is worth paying attention to beautiful old homesteads, very different from those found in the Podhale region. The Tatry Super SKI pass is valid at the station.
