Majka Jeżowska, Krzysztof Trebunia-Tutka, Hanka Wójciak or Józek Broda have paraded in them. American senator Berni Sanders has them as well. Furman gloves woven in the Beskid Sądecki are ordered by celebrities and bought by tourists. The newly established Furman Glove Weaving Trail is supposed to make them famous and is the first step towards getting the gloves placed on the UNESCO National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

Furman gloves, also known as catch gloves, are the season's hit. This traditional handicraft, which the Black Highlanders practised for years, has become fashionable. In the Beskid Sądecki region, more and more people are willing to learn this craft. Seeing such great interest in the product, the weavers did not miss the opportunity to promote the region and its unique tradition. The Furman Glove Weaving Trail, which today features about 20 active weavers, is one of the ways to showcase this unique handicraft. It can be said that they have always been woven in Piwniczna and its surroundings. Mountain sheep wool was used to make woollen yarn, which was used as material for making, among other things, footwear. Interestingly, the tradition of weaving them was passed down from father to son in the past, as they were made mainly by men. Women had more responsible and profitable jobs - they wove linen and gave the leftover wool to the men who produced gloves from it. They were used to doing heavy logging work in the forest. Today, this multi-generational tradition is being revived and brought together. About 20 people on the trail support each other and exchange experiences. They have unique plaques mounted on their homes.
