Chrosna Tourist region: Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska

This is one of the Podkrakowskie Valleys, which cuts across the southern part of the Tenczyński Hump. It lies between the villages of Morawica, Brzoskwinia and Chrosna. This is one of the less popular valleys, so you can find peace and quiet and spend carefree time with your family. It is also an ideal place for climbers taking their first steps on the wall and those who are more advanced. The mysterious Ducha Gór Cave also awaits visitors here.
The walk through the most interesting part of the valley is relatively short at around half an hour, but it is worth a visit if only for the fascinating rock formations, the caves and the viewpoint. The valley has a gentle character in its initial part, with wide bottom and gentle slopes; sparse rural development is present. The more distant part of it takes the form of a rocky gorge – the bottom gets narrower, and steep slopes rise on both sides, interspersed with rocky spires made of limestone. If the visibility is good, the outlines of the Tatra crags can be seen from their summits. It is popular with climbers. The blue tourist trail leads along its bottom. The red didactic trail Chrośnianeczka, which forms a loop, leads around the most interesting part of the valley, including the cave of the Mountain Spirit, a spirit that according to legend, was supposed to watch over grazing animals. It is worth climbing to the ridge of Garb Tenczyński, from where from where you can admire the panorama of the Tatra Mountains looming on the horizon if the visibility is good.
