In 2013, the chairman of the Tuchów City Council, Ryszard Wrona, initiated the creation of the museum. The museum has been modernized since 2009 and is located in the Tuchów Cultural Centre. The exhibition includes both historical and ethnographic collections. A large part of the exhibits was donated by the family of Tadeusz Radwan, a folk artist and traveler (the works are presented in the hall name after him). The Municipal Museum is a year-round facility that is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. However, on other days visiting is also possible - after prior notification. Entrance to the museum is paid.
