The Jakubowa Vineyard was established in 2018 on the southern slope of an extremely picturesque part of the village of Karwodrza. It is located over 300 m above sea level, in the Ciężkowice-Rożnowska part of the Carpathian Foothills in one of the warmest regions in Poland. On sunny days, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Tatra Mountains, which seem to be right at your fingertips. One section of the 918-km-long Way of St James Via Regia runs close to the vineyard.

Eight grape varieties are cultivated in an area of 0.5 ha. The vineyard is farmed organically without the use of chemical fertilisers. A pro-ecological approach is also taken in the agritourism business, as the vineyard and the year-round cottage are heated and cooled by a heat pump powered by photovoltaic panels.
The vineyard has a large gazebo with barbecue, smokehouse and kitchen facilities. It hosts special events, wine tastings, and local cheeses and cured meats.
Plenty of greenery, good sunshine, beautiful views, and the characteristic century-old pine trees were decisive in choosing this particular site to establish a vineyard.
