Łowczówek
As a reminder of the area's complicated history, there are two World War I cemeteries, including Cemetery 171, known as the Legionaries' Cemetery, which is included in the Małopolska section of the First World War Eastern Front Trail. The cemetery is located where the Battle of Łowczówek took place in 1914. The inscription on the plaque at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw evidences the importance of this battle.
Thecentre of active leisure in Łowczówek is the 'Relaks' Sports and Recreation Centre. Playing fields, skate paths, an outdoor gym, and a playground are just some of the attractions available to everyone. Comfortable sun loungers and wooden terraces provide a cosy space for recreation after an intense workout. It is well worth a visit, especially as it is on the Spring Trail, which offers other exciting attractions in the area.
Łowczówek won an award in the 2021 Małopolska Tourist Treasures competition in the Atmospheric category.
