Raptawicka Cave

Raptawicka Cave

Na około skały i głazy, niektóre pokryte mchem. Po lewej przy ścianie oparte dwie kobiety i koło nich jedna siedząca z plecakiem. Na wprost po drabinie otwór ze światłem dziennym.

Kościelisko Tourist region: Tatry i Podhale

Are you ready for some excitement? For descending a vertical ladder and climbing chains? If so, this Tatra cave, located on the western slope of the Kościeliska Valley, is for you. It is located 180 metres above the valley floor in the rocks of Raptawicka Turnia.
It's a fantastic adventure because there's some adrenaline and challenge. But this is only an advantage. To get to the cave, we must turn away from the Kościeliska Valley about 400 metres behind the Hala Pisana and follow the signs. A climb along the chain-insured black trail awaits. The cave opening cannot even be seen up close, as it is hidden behind a rock and grassy perch. The cave is a large and very spacious. A ladder of several metres leads down into its interior. The sun's rays illuminate the first chamber, which is why vegetation has developed in its ceiling. Light no longer reaches the following two chambers, so we need to be equipped with a torch. A tour of the cave takes about 30 minutes. It is most likely that the cave is connected by thin passages with the Mylna Cave and the Obłazkowa Cave, forming the Pawlikowski Cave System.
