The ReMar Land Leisure Centre in Stary Sącz is divided into two zones: the Park Wodny Stawy swimming pool and the REMARLAND zone with an aqua park, sports facilities and catering facilities.
The Park Wodny Stawy swimming pool was created by letting pure clear water flow into what had once been a gravel pit. It is located near where the Poprad River flows into the Dunajec River. In the past, the ponds were a popular place for walking, cycling, and fishing for pike, carp, catfish, and trout. Today, they are one of the most popular holiday attractions in the vicinity of Stary Sącz. The Park Wodny Stawy swimming pool now has a sandy beach with jetties, a marina for mooring, pedal boats, rowboats and canoes for hire, and observation towers for WOPR lifeguards who watch over the safety of bathers. There is also a pitch on the beach, for example, for volleyball, as well as a children's playground and refreshment facilities. The beach overlooking the Beskid Mountains is popular with families with children and with those who enjoy an active holiday by the water. There are secluded spots for anglers here, quiet waters that the fish prefer, well-removed from swimmers and boaters.
The REMARLAND zone opened in 2023. The centre offers water attractions, a climbing wall, a tennis court, pond jetties and refreshment facilities. Water attractions include three slides, a children's water playground, a swimming pool, a leisure pool and a jacuzzi.
A few-minutes' walk north of the Recreation Centre ReMar Land in Stary Sącz takes you to the Bobrowisko Nature Enclave, where, by walking on special wooden footbridges, you can observe beavers and waterfowl. This small floodplain is particularly vibrant in spring.
