The first church in the parish, built in Krynica-Zdrój in 1951 was the Greek Catholic Church of the Epiphany. That was the case until 1997, when Bishop Józef Życiński handed it over to the Greek-Catholic community and decided to build a new parish church.
The current church was built between 2002 and 2010 to a design by Czesława Biały. The foundation stone was laid by Bishop Wiktor Skworc, and Bishop Andrzej Jeż consecrated the church. Professor Wincenty Kućma and Zbigniew Prokop developed the interior design.
Inside the church, the main altar made from a block of granite in the shape of a table draws attention. A cast with Christ and the Apostles can be seen on its front. Four bas-reliefs with biblical scenes surround the gilded Tabernacle: the multiplication of bread, the miracle at Cana, the Last Supper, and Jesus's resurrection from the dead. Above the Tabernacle is the Crucifixion, and below the cross is an image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The side aisles contain several paintings, including those of Saint John Paul II and Saint Sister Faustina Kowalska, a baptismal altar with a baptismal scene in bronze casting, as well as a marble baptismal font, wall-mounted altars and wooden Stations of the Cross.
