The Auxiliary Church of St. Nicholas the Bishop in Skrzydlna was built in the C16th under the patronage of Prokop Pieniążek.
The brick chancel dates from this period, while the wooden nave was built or rebuilt in 1787. In 1838 a spire and chapel, also wooden, were added. The interior of the church is covered by false vaulting. The vaulting and walls are adorned with polychrome decoration with figurative and ornamental motifs carried out by Tadeusz Łakomski in 1958. The baroque main altar from the turn of the C18th possesses a gothic painting of Madonna with Child from the beginning of the C16th.
