Walking through the Beskid forests, with a bit of luck, you can come across roe deer and deer. Those who have not seen the animals darting from tree to tree are invited to visit Czarnego Daniela Park in Zawoja. Here, you will learn the secrets of fallow deer and how antlers grow.
If you like learning about the inhabitants of the animal kingdom or want to show your children a magical wonderland, you've come to the right place. The farm, located in Zawoja Podpolice, is where deer, fallow deer, horses, sheep, llamas and goats are reared in wide-open spaces. By visiting them at different times of the year, we can observe different animal behaviours and learn from the park owners about their habits and personalities. They can be fed by hand with food purchased on-site. Czarnego Daniela Park was geared towards deer from the very beginning and remains so today. Dozens of specimens live here, among which are some very rare breeds, such as the white stag. And the family caring for them and running the centre are passionate about sharing their knowledge. It's an excellent opportunity to take a walk and introduce children to the animal world, not while seated in a desk but when outdoors, in nature.
