The stop opened on 15 February 2007. In 2022, it was renamed; the earlier name came from the nearby Zabierz office centre – Kraków Business Park. The railway station is equipped with a disabled-accessible ramp.
A limestone quarry, situated atop a knoll above the Rudawa Valley, operated here until the 19th century. The stop handles local traffic running from Kraków to Krzeszowice, Oświęcim, Katowice, Tarnów, and Rzeszów.
