Tourist region: Pieniny i Spisz
An impressive example of a Tatry chalet, the hostel has a stone and masonry ground floor, part of which serves as a terrace, andfour all-wood storeys consisting of two main storeys and two smaller storeys beneath asteeply-inclined cross-gabled roof. The hostel has 50 beds in 17 rooms for 2, 3, 4, and 5 people. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, and many offer a balcony or terrace. In addition, there is a buffet, club room, playground, bicycle rental and a gazebo with an outdoor grill for barbecuing. The restaurant serves tasty regional dishes and Polish cuisine prepared on-site from the best that nature has to offer - the mountain trout, traditional leg of lamb in cabbage, dumplings with bryndza and, for a sweet treat, apple pie, are all worth recommending. The hostel's water intake is fed with spring water that comes straight from the heart of the Pieniny National Park.
The chalet's location makes it an excellent base for hiking, mountain-climbing, bicycle trips and ski adventures. The proximity of the pedestrian border crossing with Slovakia allows you to visit your southern neighbours. Nearby hiking trails:
yellow through Szopczański Gorge, Szopka Pass, Bajków Groń to Krościenko,
green through the southern slopes of Trzy Korony and the Wyżni Łazek Pass to the Koszarzyska Glade (where it connects with the main blue trail leading along the ridge of the Trzy Korony Massif and Pieninki).
The hostel offers exceptional stay and activity packages for families, companies, and schools, and it organises meetings, excursions, and sleigh rides. You can get here all year round, also in winter the road is kept free and clear of snow.
