The Indian village in Szczyrzyc is situated in an old Beskid orchard – an area officially protected under the Natura 2000 program.
Visitors can admire fully furnished and painted teepees of natural size, a tent called tio-teepee, which can accommodate up to 50 persons, and a steam tent serving as an Indian sauna. The village is provided with a special war tent and faithful replicas of clothing worn by Indians 200 years ago – war shirts, tomahawks and rawhide bags. Life in an Indian village is faithfully reproduced here thanks to original constructions picturing scenes from Indian life, where visitors can admire a warrior smoking a sacred pipe, women dressing leathers and the absorbing scene of a warrior’s funeral. You can also shoot at the target from a real Indian bow, attend music and handicraft workshops, taste Indian dishes and paint your face. You are also invited to participate in original Indian games.
