Kościół św. Wojciecha Kraków
St. Adalbert Church in Kraków
This inconspicuous church situated on the Main Square is one of the oldest temples in Kraków.
It was built on the relics of earlier buildings from the 10th and 11th century. The current Romanesque church was built at the beginning of the 12th century. The church has been rebuilt several times and now combines the Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque features. From Romanesque elements, the elements of Romanesque stonework have been preserved: splayed windows, portal and fragments of the wall made of stone blocks.
