Muzeum Witrażu Kraków
Muzeum Witrażu przy Krakowskim Zakładzie Witrażów S.G. Żeleński
In this extraordinary place, the exhibition spaces are intertwined with the stained glass workshop, located here since 1902. During visiting, we may observe the process of making stained glass works, which has remained unchanged for centuries. The structure of the townhouse, which now accommodates the Museum and which was built specifically for the purposes of the Kraków Stained Glass Company S.G. Żelenski, also has remained unchanged and each room plays its role in the production process. The interiors of the building and furnishings of the workshop, through which the route of the “living Museum” leads, have retained their original nature.Visiting the workshop and exhibition spaces with a guide is possible in one of 8 languages: Polish, English, French, Italian (native speaker), Spanish (native speaker), German, Russian and Ukrainian (native speaker). In addition to the offer for individual tourists, the Museum has prepared a special offer for groups, the offer of workshops, possibility of organising dinner at the Museum or visiting combined with a concert and a glass of wine.
