The Jawor Mountain in the Lower Beskids is a sacred place for the members of the Orthodox Church and for the Greek Catholics due to the revelation of the Mother of God, who asked for building a chapel.
It was built in 1929. After the ravages of World War II, it was rebuilt to become a place of cult. Particularly important services are held here on 12 July and 14 October. The chapel belongs to the Orthodox parish at the Intercession Orthodox church in Wysowa Zdrój.
