Zakopane Communication Centre

Po lewej ciąg jednopiętrowych budynków dworca autobusowego w Zakopanem, dalej niższy i za nim znów jednopiętrowy. Przed nim chodnik i szeroka ulica. Widać na niej dwa stojące samochody. Dalej drzewa i nad nimi wysokie szczyty Tatr pod bezchmurnym niebem.

The Zakopane Communication Centre is an investment combining different forms of transport into a single interchange terminal.
The Communication Centre in Zakopane is a long-awaited investment that integrates all modes of transport. In addition to the redevelopment of the stations, the refurbished buildings of the Communication Centre include space for passenger traffic and for tourist and cultural functions. The historic spaces will house a restaurant and a two-storey multimedia room. The former 'Railway Reception Centre' (Przychodnia PKP) (now called 'Culture Station' (Stacja Kultura)) will feature a tourist information point. The buildings will also house exhibition spaces and a music club.
As part of the Communication Centre, the plaza area was cleaned up and landscaped, local and long-distance bus stands were created, and a multi-storey Park & Ride was built (146 parking spaces, including 9 for people with disabilities). The latter has four electric car charging stations, seven electric bicycle charging stations and a self-service bicycle repair station. For passengers using rail transport or other public transport covered by the Małopolska Agglomeration Card system, the car park will be free of charge.
By the end of 2023, the rebuilt railway station in Zakopane is due to be operational, and Kuźnice will be added to the system the following year.
