Spad Waterfalls Szczawa

Kamienie i głazy po których płynie niewielka rzeka. Na wprost duży głaz i bokami pryskająca woda spływa w dół. Dalej płynie spokojnie. Po lewej ściana ze skalnych głazów z niewielką roślinnością przy rzece.

34-607 Szczawa Tourist region: Gorce i Beskid Wyspowy

The waterfalls on the Kamienica Gorczańska River, a left-bank tributary of the Dunajec, is located in the Koszarki estate in Szczawa. Spad is the largest waterfalls in the Gorce Mountains and one of the largest in the Beskid Mountains.

It is not very tall (2.20 metres), but because of the large mass of water flowing through it, it makes a powerful impression. The Kamienica Gorczańska River is already quite a large river at this point. The water falls from the stone threshold in two streams, the right of which is more voluminous and almost perpendicular. The left rolls down the rocky steps. It is a natural waterfall formed where there are stacked banks of hard and erosion-resistant sandstone. The cascade is located just at Road No. 968 from Mszana Górna to Zabrze. This allows easy access to the Spad Waterfalls. From the Bukówka car park, cross the bridge towards the estate and turn left immediately onto the second bridge. Continuing along the tarmac road, you will reach the waterfalls in 5 minutes.
