The Greek Catholic Parish Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Szymbark (currently a Roman Catholic Filial Church) was built in 1790 or 1821.
The church was erected using log construction, with shingled walls and a tin roof. The interior is covered by flat ceilings. The fittings include an iconostasis from the first half of the C19th; a main altar with a canopy and an icon of The Crucifixion; in the nave there are two side altars in the baroque tradition (first half of the C19th) with icons of Christ Teaching and Madonna with Child and on the walls there are medallions of the evangelists which come from the previous iconostasis.
