The Valley of Five Polish Lakes
The Valley of Five Polish Lakes is located above the Roztoka Valley and is bounded by the steep peaks of Orla Perć in the north and the screes of Miedziany in the south. The highest mountain hostel in the Polish Tatras, with a unique atmosphere, is situated in this valley. A network of trails leading to the High Tatras' peaks and passes: the Szpiglasowa Pass and Szpiglasowy Wierch, the Zawrat Pass, the Kozia Pass and Kozi Wierch or the Krzyżne Pass starts here. It is worth remembering that these routes are among the most challenging and require appropriate preparation.
A friendly and undemanding, yet very charming route leads along the blue trail through Świstówka Roztocka to Morskie Oko Lake. Nevertheless, the trip to the Valley of Five Polish Lakes and wandering from Przedni to the Zadni Polish Lakes provides unforgettable aesthetic experiences.
The route to the Valley of Five Polish Lakes starts in Palenica Białczańska (where one finds a car park) then turns right at the Mickiewicz Waterfalls. It takes about 3 hours (depending on one's pace) to get to the Valley of Five Polish Lakes from the car park.
Admission to the Valley is paid.
