Dolina Suchej Wody

The Sucha Woda Valley

Obiekt przyrodniczy

Zakopane Tourist region: Tatry i Podhale

A walk in the Sucha Woda Valley is an alternative route to reaching Hala Gąsienicowa for those who want to avoid the crowded junction in Kuźnice and those who like walking in a forested area.

The trail starts at the Brzeziny Glade, where one finds a car park. The black-marked trail leads to the PTTK Murowaniec Mountain Hostel, and the walking time is approximately 2 h 15 min. The route is easy, but it is considered relatively monotonous. Its advantage is the Sucha Woda Creek meandering along the trail. It offers the possibility of modifying the trip and taking the earlier red trail towards the Pańszczyca Valley, through Gęsia Szyja to the Rusinowa Glade. In the upper part of the Valley, whose central point is Hala Gąsienicowa and the PTTK Murowaniec Mountain Hostel, there is a junction of main trails leading to Orla Perć, the Krzyżne Pass, Kościelec, Świnica or Kasprowy Wierch.

Admission to the Valley is paid.
