The Church of Our Lady of the Blessed Thunder Candle (Candlemas) in Siemiechów arose at the turn of the C16th; at the beginning of the C20th a brick chapel was added.
Despite this transformation it is still one of the most interesting examples of gothic wooden architecture in the area. The single-nave shingled church was built using log construction, and its slender profile is covered by a single-ridge shingled roof. The interior has retained elements of late-gothic detail: the nave portals and chancel window frames are capped with ogee arches. The fragments of polychrome decoration date from the C16th-C17th. In the chancel you can make out Adam and Eve.
