St. Sebastian’s Church in Strzelce Wielkie dates from 1784-85, but a settlement already existed here in the C11th.
The C18th-C19th wooden bell-tower with bell-house next to the church was built using post construction. The majority of the fittings – the altars, pulpit and stone font date from the C18th. The late-baroque main altar has a painting depicting the church’s patron saint: The Arrest of St. Sebastian. On the screen there is a C17th baroque painting of Our Lady of the Scapular. The rococo side altars contain paintings depicting St. Joseph and the Sacred Heart.
