New Cemetery at ul. Miodowa Kraków

Chodnik na cmentarzu, przysypany jesiennymi liśćmi. Po obu stronach chodnika i na końcu znajdują się nagrobki oraz pnie drzew, zza których przebija pochmurne niebo.

New Cemetery at ul. Miodowa was founded at the beginning of the 19th century as a new burial place of the Krakow Jews after closing of the Remuh Cemetery.
The oldest preserved tombs come from the 40s of the 19th century. Within the cemetery, more than 10 thousand tombs have been preserved, with extremely interesting forms and ornamentation. At the main gate, there is a monument commemorating the Holocaust victims and the old funeral home fully equipped to perform the Jewish postmortem rites.
