ul. św. Tomasza 8, 31-014 Kraków
Tourist region: Kraków i okolice
The décor, which draws on the traditions of the region, creates a welcoming atmosphere thanks to the distinctive colours of the individual rooms and the interiors that create different atmospheres. The interior is full of copper vessels, pots and jars of delicacies from the larder. There is a borderland room with icons, Kraków streets with elevations and lanterns, a kitchen with a tiled cooker and pantry treasures, and even an 'antique shop' with a wall full of painted books. In the centre of the restaurant is a wood-fired oven, where bread is baked and some of the food is prepared. In addition to Polish dishes prepared according to recipes handed down from generation to generation, the restaurant offers a taste of the cuisine of countries such as Lithuania, Moldova, Ukraine, and Russia. In summer, guests enjoy the lovely garden.
The founder of the restaurant is the famous restaurateur and expert in Polish cuisine, Jan Kościuszko.
