The Soła River is Oświęcim's most outstanding natural and landscape asset. The Municipal Centre for Sport and Recreation in Oświęcim together with the authorities of the City of Oświęcim invite all interested parties to rent canoes and kayaks to go paddling on the Soła River.
The start is from the so-called 'beach' on the boulevards – where the Bulwary Leisure Zone is usually located – and the finish in front of the weir at Kruki. The rental is open on selected Sundays from 12 noon to 5 pm.
The safety of the canoeists is supervised by lifeguards from the Municipal WOPR in Oświęcim and the canoes are provided by TKKF 'Motor' Andrychów.
The organiser reserves the right to cancel the canoeing trip due to weather conditions or high water levels.
