The cable car to Kasprowy Wierch has been present in the Tatras since 1936. It allows you to take a journey into the world of Tatra nature admired from a bird's eye view. It is the only high-mountain cableway in Poland. The lower station of the cable car is located in Kużnice in Zakopane, the intermediate station on Myślenickie Turnie, and the upper station at the top of Kasprowy Wierch. It works all year round, taking 60 people into a cable car suspended on ropes. Kasprowy Wierch is not only the most famous peak in Poland, but also the only place where you can feel like you are in the Alps.

Thanks to its location, the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch provides the passengers with an unforgettable experience. A journey with a change to the top is an unforgettable experience and takes several minutes. The cars cover more than 4.3 km of the route with one transfer station for tourists and skiers. After the recent modernization, these modern cars with large windows allow you to admire the Tatra valleys, mountain peaks and ridges from a bird's eye view.  You can also often see the park's inhabitants, including chamois and bears. The upper station is only 25 meters below the peak of Kasprowy Wierch. There, you can find: a restaurant, toilets, waiting room and a small shop. There are unforgettable views from the top. You can admire the High Tatras and the Western Tatras, as well as Zakopane and nearby villages conveniently arranged in the valleys at the foot of the mountains. The viewpoint allows you to stop for a moment and enjoy the unspoiled nature. Kasprowy Wierch is also the beginning of a hiking trip to the Tatra Mountains for many. You can follow the red trail along the ridge to Czerwone Wierchy or Świnica. The yellow trail leads through Hala Gąsienicowa to one of the Tatra shelters – Murowaniec. That is why Kasprowy is teeming with life in the summer. Many say that the tourist heart of the Tatra Mountains beats here. In the winter, the cableway is used mainly by skiers and snowboarders. In two points on the slopes of Kasprowy there are chairlifts and alpine ski runs, almost 14 km long (with FIS approval). There is a four-person ski lift in Kocioł Gąsienicowy, and two in Goryczkowe. From the Kasprowy peak you can ski all the way to Kuźnice.
