The Great Siklawa Waterfall
The route starts in Palenica Białczańska, where a 40-minute warm-up takes one to the Mickiewicz Waterfalls. Here begins an ascent along the Roztoka Valley; it is initially steep and later gentle, marked with a green trail, and takes about 1 hour 20 minutes. After this time, one reaches the fork of the trail, and the route to the waterfall continues straight ahead, following the green trail. At this point begins an exceptionally sharp, rocky ascent partly on boulders, which are often wet and slippery. It is worth taking the trail carefully and, after about 40 minutes, enjoying the view of the water flowing down, and the noise of the water can be heard from afar. Further on, the trail leads to the PTTK Mountain Hostel in the Valley of Five Polish Lakes. Turn left along the blue trail, and after about 10 minutes, one can enjoy a hot meal in the Hostel with a view of the lake.
