The 'Gazdowo Kuźnia' Restaurant is located at the foot of Krupówki, opposite Gubałówka. Noteworthy is the building, one of the oldest in Zakopane, dating from 1891. It once housed 'Pod Giewontem’, Zakopane's first hotel. The restaurant rooms of that hotel occupied the same rooms in which the current premises are located! The stylish interior draws on the rich highland tradition. Gazdowo Kuźnia's cuisine is based on recipes from local carpenters and the centuries-old tradition of Polish cuisine. The chef's specialities include pork knuckle in beer sauce the Gazda way, grilled pork loin, highland-style tea and many other Podhale delicacies. In addition to regional cuisine, you can try dishes from Old Polish cuisine and traditional home dinners.
