The inn is located in the Galician Town in Nowy Sącz – a reconstruction of a 19th-century small town with a market square surrounded by houses containing craftsmen's workshops. The restaurant occupies a log building, a replica of a Jewish inn in Orawka from the turn of the 20th century.

The inn offers Galician cuisine, based on recipes typical of the cuisine of the ethnic groups living in the region during the reign of Emperor Francis Joseph I and Austrian, German and Hungarian traditions. There is also no shortage of contemporary elements. At the Galicyjska Inn, you can enjoy, for example, royal bouillon, white sour soup, Galician bigos, sour soup, handmade dumplings, roast lamb, duck and fish, as well as Hungarian pancakes and spicy, meaty stew.
A portrait of an elegant Emperor Franz Joseph adorns one wall of the inn. The culinary and cultural concept of the inn is built around an imperial kingdom atmosphere and alludes to Galician cuisine. The facility, which is part of the Nowy Sącz Ethnographic Park, organises events and festivals, and one of the rooms is dedicated to cooking workshops.
