The Church of St John the Baptist in Mikluszowice was erected in 1859-1863, south-west from St John’s Mount.
The interior of the church was decorated in a neo-Baroque style. The church features a 16th-century sculpture of Risen Christ, a historic baptismal font from 1850 and a neo-Baroque main altar. St John’s Mount is a 15-metre-tall hill, which was created naturally by the meandering Raba River, and since then became a subject of many legends. Archaelogical surveys indicate that in the Middle Ages, there was a fortified settlement there. In the 12th century, a wooden church was erected on the hill. Since it burned down several times, a brick church was erected in another spot at a later date.
