Antonioni's Cellars Vineyard
Wola Lubecka 15, 33-162 Wola Lubecka
Tourist region: Tarnów i okolice
The Antonioni's Cellars family vineyard of the Marcinek family is located on an agritourism farm in Wola Lubecka near Ryglice in the Ciężkowice Foothills.
It is surrounded by picturesque areas of the Ciężkowice Foothills, and directly above the vineyard itself rises the lofty Kokocz mountain (434 metres above sea level), which is one of the most important viewpoints in this part of the Carpathian Foothills. In addition to its unquestionable scenic value, the mountain shields the crop located less than 200 metres below its summit from cold north and east winds.
A well-sunlit, 30-acre plantation with about 1,200 vines allows the cultivation of such varieties as: Seyval Blanc, Solaris, Johanniter, Muscat Ottonel, Aurora, Bianca, Jutrzenka, Cabernet Cortis and Cascade as well as dessert strains. The vineyard produces two proprietor’s blend wines, Danutie, a white wine, and Vermel, a red wine. There is also an apiary on the farm, where mead is produced.
