Tourist region: Tarnów i okolice
Established in 2014 in the valley of the Biała River near Tarnów, the Rubinowa Vineyard is a backyard plantation with 1,600 vines.
The vineyard is located in Świebodzin in the Biała River valley, just 5 kilometres from the Tarnów city limits. These are areas belonging to the Pleśna municipality (gmina), which, apart from Skała near Kraków, is probably the most 'viticultural' municipality in Małopolska today. Half a dozen professionally managed vineyards have been planted there so far, two of which – Zadora Vineyard and Janowice Vineyard – are already officially selling their wines to shops and restaurants.
There are 65 acres with vines for white and red wines, and 20 acres under cover with dessert vines such as Treasure of Pannonia, Kodrianka, Arkadia and Ajwaz. Mr and Mrs Wach.
Due to the young age of the vines, production is relatively small. Wines made in small batches are fermented in stainless steel or glass containers.
The founders of the vineyard invite visitors to visit and taste, and in the future, they intend to open commercial wine production in the future.
