Przybysławice Vineyard
Zamkowa, 32-088 Przybysławice
Tourist region: Kraków i okolice
The idea for the winery came about during the owner's trip through Tuscany and Abruzzo. Delighted by the richness of the vines and the unique taste of the wine, he decided to create his little Tuscany near Kraków in 2013. In 2014, 1,200 types of vines were planted on his land in the buffer zone of the Ojców National Park. Everything he knows, he learned through trial and error and the experiences of other Polish winemakers, and – he says on his website – he learns something new every day. To this day, the Przybysławice Vineyard produces Regent, Cabernet Cortis for red wines and Solaris, Seyval Blanc, Johanniter, Souvignier Gris and Hibernal for white wines. The wines are produced in a natural, vegan way, without the use of unnecessary herbicides and sprays, with attention to detail at every stage. Although the Przybysławice Vineyard has not yet been awarded the Organic Certificate, it is an ideal contender for this title. The owner's family and friends hold the annual harvest. The owner's efforts have been rewarded, as the vineyard was listed on the Małopolska Wine Trail in 2020.
