Madeva Winery Cianowice
Other tourist attractions
Born out of passion, this Jurassic winery has consistently delighted visitors with the aroma and taste of its wines for several years.
The vineyard is located in the village of Cianowice, in the southern part of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, 15 km north of Kraków. It consists of two plots - one planted experimentally in 2016 and the other with selected varieties in 2019. The owners have planted around 80% white varieties among the approximately 2,500 vines, such as Solaris, Muscaris, Seyval Blanc, Hibernal, and Johaniter. The red varieties are mainly Regent and Cabernet Cortis. The vineyard has a south and west exposure, giving ideal conditions for vine growth. The newer part of the vineyard has a small field of lavender and a rose field. The first Madeva amateur wine was produced from the 2018 vintage, while in 2021, the winery was certified and able to sell the wine.
