Zawisza Vineyard
Wesołów 200, 32-840 Wesołów
Tourist region: Tarnów i okolice
It started as a small, backyard vineyard of a few acres in Wesołów near Zakliczyn, which expanded to include a hectare in nearby Brzozowa. He owner and founder has a lot of experience in the field of grape growing – he worked in Swiss and French vineyards for several years – and he is an authority for other regional winemakers. His wines have repeatedly won medals at wine competitions. The vineyard occupies a well-sunlit slope with a south and south-western exposure and has been planted with both processing (for wine making) and dessert strains. The following strains are grown here for white wines: Solaris, Johanniter, Helios, Riesling, Muscat Ottonel, Doral and Chardonnay, and for red wines: Pinot Noir, Cabernet Cortis, Cabernet Carol, Cabernet Carbon, Monarch, Regent, Rondo, Rathay, Rösler and Cabernet Sauvignon. The plantation also offers vine cuttings for purchase for in-house production.
