Sanctuary of Our Lady of Jordanów, Jordanów
The image of Mary venerated in Jordanów is situated in a Gothic church built before the first world war to the design of a famous architect, Jan Sas-Zubrzycki.
The image of the mother of God from the church in Jordanow is a copy of the image of the Madonna from Jasna Góra. In 1994, it was crowned, and the church received the status of Marian Sanctuary. The St Mary painting in Jordanow is also referred to as the Mother of God of the Difficult Trust. Local festivals were instituted on the first Sunday following Pentecost, that is on the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, and on 7th October, that is the Feast of the Mother of God of the Rosary.
