ul. Wałowa 10, 33-100 Tarnów Tourist region: Tarnów i okolice

A beautiful Mirror Room, that this biggest and most impressive building on Wałowa street is best known for, hosts regular sessions of the City Council, awarding it prestigious (though occasional) recognition as a Town Hall.
And, maybe, the building was even designed for that purpose, among others? It definitely met all the trends and requirements for public buildings. The edifice was spacious with large, richly ornamented windows and decorated interiors in then-popular neo-renaissance style. But most of all, the building was home to the City of Tarnów Savings Bank, an institution vital for sustainable development of local businesses. Completed in 1882, the edifice became significant center of social and cultural life as well. The Mirror Room attracted music concerts and an opera shows and served as the most prestigious ball room in Tarnów.
