And not without reason: it is a land full of valleys and gorges, through which picturesque rivers flow, and also the kingdom of rocky monadnocks, caves and karst springs. These areas are ideal for one-day family trips that will certainly please children. A walk or bike ride through extremely interesting valleys, e.g. the Będkowska Valley (impressive Sokolica rock, waterfall, karst spring, Bat Cave), Kobylańska Valley (lots of fanciful rocks forming gates, crags and walls) or Kluczwoda Valley (Castle Rock with the ruins of the knight's watchtower, the Upper Wierzchowska Cave) will certainly give lots of memories. Be sure to visit the Bolechowicka Valley, only 1.5 km long, which is a small natural wonder. The large rock gate guarding the entrance to the valley really makes a huge impression. The Mnikowska Valley is also captivating with its karst gorge and fragment of the Sanka Valley. It owes its uniqueness to beautiful monadnocks of original shapes that stretch almost continuously on both sides.
