The Baroque building of the synagogue from the 18th century on a rectangular plan is topped with the hipped roof. The main part of the building is made of stone, the front is decorated with a wooden addition with a wide balcony.
On the eastern wall, there is the richly decorated stucco frame of the Torah Ark from the years 1777-1778. At the turn of the 19th and 20th century, famous Tzadiks taught here: Solomon ben Nathan Halberstam, founder of the Orthodox Talmudic school and his son Ben Zion, the author of Hasidic music.
