The Dąbrowski monument and mound, Pierzchów

The Dąbrowski monument and mound, Pierzchów

Z bliska wysoki prostokątny pomnik, w dolnej części szerszy, z napisem u góry i nad nim herbem. Wokół krzewy i górne części betonowych słupków. W dali widać usypany, trawiasty kopiec, z pomnikiem na szczycie. Po bokach drzewa. Niebo częściowo zachmurzone.
In the village of Pierzchow, the Gdów municipality, there is a place, which commemorates General J. H. Dabrowski - one of the leaders of the Kosciuszko insurrection, who led, among others, the excursion to Greater Poland, to the rear of the Prussian army, the later Chief of the Polish Legions, about which we sing in the Polish anthem "Mazurek Dąbrowskiego".
He was born in this manor. In his honour, a mound was built and a commemorative monument erected. The local school, which bears the name of Dabrowski, takes care of it.
